Ok, I know Comodo Is One of the Best Computer Security Companies but I have few Questions
is it possible someone to copy the Firewall And Study it And Build it like it but different name and different Appearnces??
I have a Custom Program I called it JJS (Jay jay Scanner) ( me and My friend Ashley Created it) *
and one of the functions is that it breaks down a Program And put it together the same way but It gets all the info When it was created How What format and Copies it to a Secure Folder( so it’s protected if you are asking) , Functions And Blah blah blah,
I’ve tried it with CPF Which I Failed to do I was Wondering If it’s like A NEw Security Block, I only tried once, but no luck
I’ve Gotten few Programs like Trillian, myspaceIM and yes I did get permisson to do so
another Question,
What’s the best Hardware Firewall/Router?
And What Exactly is the Difference?
I heard From Leonard (chief of Security (computer)) [ 3year Expiernce] “It’s useless to get a software firewall because it just clogs up PC Performance and Boot Up Time”
Is that True?
One more Question, My School Has VNC Server (Program) and Their Supposed to Block Students From getting into Teachers Files and Accounts but It’s just simple to get in, If I told them how to fix it will i get in trouble??

Perfectly true providing you just don’t care about outbound connections. Please tell Leonard to have a look at CFP. While he’s right in implying that it will impose an overhead on the system (as would absolutely any additional software layer), CFP is, IMHO, the fastest software firewall available with the lowest possible overhead.

Ethically speaking, you would be at fault if you didn’t tell them.

ok, Does anyone know when all the betas AV, Buffer over flow, Firewall, And all the others going to be done??
and are they going to combine them all into one application?
GOD knows. the next CAVS 3 is still BETA, but the CFP3.0 is the latest BETA, so i guess we can expect the final version soon.
i think CBO will be combined with CAVS (the malware signatures), and CMG+CFP.
but we can still download the apps separately.
CMG will be integrated into CMG.

And now for the release dates.
CPF3 is supposted to be in the last BETA stage, then there’s possible going to be 1 or 2 RC’s and after that we’ll see the final version, so possible in the end of January or somewhere in February.
CAVS haven’t reached so far into the BETA stage, so it’ll be released maybe 2-3 months after CPF3 I guess.
And like ganda said, CBO+CAVS sounds like a nice combination.
