Computer active Feb 2011

I was just reading an article in this magazine about free security software and look what I just read.

“Sometimes the most useful features are disabled in the free versions, Spyware blaster and Comodo Antivirus don’t have automatic updates, for example.”

Where do these ignoramuses get there information from?? Do they even try the software before they review it??

Please send them an email about it. I assume they will fix it. Anyway it would be worth the try.

Can you please post a link?

Keep things like this in mind too when you’re reading other reviews from these guys, this just shows how well they tested the software.

Also about Spyware blaster, although it’s true you have to pay for auto updates, it really don’t get updates that often only about twice a month I think, and due to the type of software it is, if you don’t get the latest update right when it comes out, it really isn’t a big deal…

I have it in PDF format if you want it.

After posting this I read further on through the magazine and they have actually reviewed CIS on a later page.

I am not sure if I can post a screen shot of the review but I will anyway. They say that they get a pop up showing Microsoft is not on the TVL. And that they got pop us for chrome and internet explorer. If they were getting pop ups for these programs they must of has something wrong with there installation surely??

no cloud is late and slow … nothing more .

I do not understand a word of this?

I believe that’s only for vendors who aren’t already in the TVL on your computer. I’ve definately had no warnings for Microsoft files.

That would be my guess as well.
