component moniter being disabled

Hi everyone
i was recently getting update of XoftSpySE and once the update had completed and the program restarted i noticed that the component monitor in comodo firewall had be disabled i had to uninstall the firewall then reinstall it to get it up and running properly

has anybody got any idea as to what might have happened

i have done scans and do not have any viruses or spyware

i also just prior to the update i uninstalled dvdlabpro which i had been trying

any help would be great

cheers

G’day dufus and welcome to the forums (good to see another Aussie on board ;)).

Xsofyspy doesn’t always play nice with other applications. Several months ago, an update produced a similar problem to the one you described with Novell’s login client. After the update, the login box would appear but wouldn’t accept any input. you had to uninstall the client software and reinstall.
