Hi.
Our organization has issued a Kerio Control VPN Client to my device. Here is a very big problem: When I connect with the Kerio Control VPN Client, Comodo Firewall’s program filtering stops being effective; it can no longer see which programs connect to the Internet. Is there a way to fix this? (Just for the record, I tried asking them; but let’s just says the subsequent conversation was of no use.)
I don’t know of if this piece of information is relevant but I can see that Kerio Control has created “Kerio Virtual Network” on my computer. That interface does not have “COMODO Internet Security Firewall Driver” associated with it.
Thanks in advance.
The following is a total long shot. Can you see what happens when you manually add the firewall driver to the VPN adapter?
I would, but I don’t know how.
EDIT: FYI, the VPN client itself is available free of charge.
I made a screenshot with instructions on how to manually add the inspect firewall driver. Follow the dialogue boxes clock wise starting at 12 o clock. With red I show which buttons to push. In the last image choose inspect.inf. Then ok your way further.

Strange. I see no screenshots… :-\
My bad. I forgot to upload the screenshot. It is now attached.
Your instructions would work for almost every adaptor in my computer if chose “Service” instead of “Client”.
But it didn’t work for Kerio Virtual Network adaptor. All I got was an empty list. I can’t understand.
Can you post a screenshot of the situation? Can you make it like I did with the windows clockwise?
I am uploading two screenshots:
[ol]- Service installation stages for Kerio Virtual Network.png is the one that you requested.

Service installation stages for Local Area Network.png shows the end result of the same stages, but this time for Local Area Network adapter.[/ol]

Does following the process result in getting the Firewall driver installed in the Kerio Network Adapter?
No. It result in getting empty list you see in the first screenshot.
Does choosing Client instead of Service get the driver installed?
No. See new screenshot.

I am out of ideas I’m afraid. I would call this a bug.
If you have the time and energy please consider filing a bug report in the Bug Reports - CIS board following the format as described in FORMAT & GUIDE - just COPY/PASTE it!.
Reporting of bugs is strictly moderated to make sure Comodo gets clear bug reports. So, please make sure you closely follow protocol. That way your report will certainly be seen by Comodo staff.
Thanks. Will do at the first convenience.
