Comodo won't detect Eicar test virus app from google play

Comodo won’t detect the eicar test virus app from the google play store nor does it seem to detect an app which is pushing adds comodo used to work well but the latest version seems to be bugged. I have updated the antivirus but am still having problems.

The previous version detects this test app instantly upon running it.
I too have found the current version flawed, but remembered I had the previous version backed up so restored that version.

I am having the same issue. Is CMS detecting anything right now?

Comodo picked up an adware on my phone that du tools which I use as a booster did not. I get told though my virus database is out of date yet when I update it says it is up to date. Seems to work but there are bugs.
