I have searched FAQs and topics and can find no reference to my particular problem.
Whenever I click on Comodo update my AVG Professional states that the update contains a PolyCrypt virus, also PEPatch virus.
Any ideas anyone? Many thanks.
Send a sample to AVG by this address.
support[at]avg.com and tell them it’s a false positive.
And add comodo folder to exclude list iun AVG.
(I didn’t use AVG so I can’t post how to do that sorry.)

FYI - The COMODO firewall (free version) update of Nov 19 2009 came up as a virus threat again with AVG 8.5. I assume this is a false positive though it is unnerving.
Oddly enough this only happened on my Laptop which is running AVG paid subscription and NOT my desktop running COMODO (free) and AVG 8.5 (free).
Perhaps AVG 8.5 paid version is more enthusiastic…?
