I wanna manually change my router’s DNS settings to use Comodo’s Secure DNS so all my computers are safe when surfing. But I want to turn of the DNS settings at local computer level when I installed Comodo CIS. Can anyone guide me?
It is a Windows 7 machine, is a setting in the OS or within Comodo CIS itself?
I am not quite sure. But I would expect that setting Windows to automatically obtain DNS server addresses from the gateway would do the trick.
Yes your right, bit hard to find in Win 7 but there none the less.
It lists both IPv6 & IPv4, only IPv4 is set to Comodo DNS.
IPv6 is not really in use right now (but will be in the future) so thats probly why it only set ipv4
