I’ve been a long time user of Sandboxie but have recently started using Comodo Firewall for sandboxing my web browsers. Here’s my question; if I were to exclude the entire Firefox profile from getting sandboxed, would any malware downloaded into the Sandboxed browser be able to get through to my system? The reason I ask is, when you do that with Sandboxie, it specifically states that programs downloaded into the sandbox (including malware) can’t affect excluded folders. Is Comodo programmed that way? I vageuly remember reading something to that affect in the Comodo literature but can’t find it again.
