What is COMODO Rescue Disk?
COMODO Rescue Disk is a bootable disk image with COMODO Cleaning Essentials for Linux embedded. CCE for Linux is a powerful virus, spyware, rootkit scanner and cleaner which works in both GUI and text mode. CRD works more efficient than CCE for Windows because it cleans your system before Windows operating system is loaded. It is designed to be used when crimeware embeds itself so deeply into your system that CCE for Windows cannot clean it or Windows cannot start because of any infection or abnormal system change. CRD also provides you with tools to explore files in your hard drive, take screenshot and browse web page.

Changes in CRD 2.0 since 1.x Beta:

  1. Use latest Comodo Antivirus Engine for Linux v1.2.3.
  2. Identified bugs fixed.
  3. Vendor check to reduce false positives.

Hi military

You know that this BETA is a “private” BETA (ie. forum members only) and that you’ve just posted the download URL on a board that can be view by the general public (ie. non-forum members)… right? :slight_smile:

I see. So, you think these BETA’s are marked as “private” because of some sort of membership elitism rather than a genuine safety concern (aka. corporate responsibility) for members of the public at large. Intriguing… a misguided rebel. :smiley: :wink:

military, на сколько я понимаю, прямые ссылки для загрузки бета продуктов доступны только для зарегистрированных пользователей. Наверное лучше её убрать из общего доступа…

The most critical features are: 1. Ability to detect and clean all virus, malwares and rootkits. 2. Ability to repair infected MBR and abnormal system changes.
а лечение инфицированных файлов подразумевается под тестированием? или CCE не лечит?

Спасибо за видео, посмотрел. Еще раз убедился, что полиморфы типа Virut, Sality лечатся спецутилитами…

  1. Использует последний антивирусный движок Comodo Antivirus для Linux v1.2.3.
  2. Исправление обнаруженных проблем.
  3. Проверка вендоров для снижения ложных срабатываний…
