COMODO Online Storage 2.0.7 Bug Reports

  • How you produced the problem; installed cos uploaded a small word document then explorer crashes
  • How you tried to resolve the problem; na

  • Post Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any; na
  • file system (FAT32/NTFS/…) ntfs
  • All log files (%TEMP%\ComodoLogsFolder and \Windows\Temp\ComodoLogsFolder). You can compress these folders into a single zip file. i dont know what you mean by %TEMP% but the Windows\Temp\ComodoLogsFolder is attached
  • does Diagnose says the application is installed correctly? yes
  • User Account Control On/Off ? off
  • Any other Additional Information;

i reported this issue many builds back but it still present

  • How you produced the problem; Files with polish letters in their names e.g. “córka.zip” are unable to copy, open and so on.

Are you trying to upload the files using COS drive, COS website or COS program?

  • How you produced the problem; After installation, at boot, the COS client displays some errors witch installation and synchronization service, and shows a small log file (wklej.org - wklej Resources and Information.). Then normally connects to the network and it works as it should.
  • How you tried to resolve the problem; I removed the application and installed again.

Probably CIS is in some conflict with COS. Adding COSCLIENT.exe, Synchronizationservice.exe and COSService.exe as trusted applications in the rules of Defense + and Firewall not exactly helped. Sometimes errors are not shown, but the program remains offline. Sometimes even program runs completely fine. Has anyone idea about what it is caused by?
