I completely uninstalled CBU v4 and the version of COS bundled with it and did a clean install of COS, The diagnostic report told me that cbvd.sys was not working. On further investigation, I discovered that the ImagePath value for HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\cbvd pointed to system32\DRIVERS\cbvd.sys
instead of %systemroot%\system32\DRIVERS\cbvd.sys.

PS. COS Diagnostics Report.txt is in %Temp% and not in %temp%\comodologsfolder.

My system crashed when loading Cbvd.sys at startup. Went into startup repair and it seems to go on for hours without solving the issue. I suspect laptop already hangs.

Can u tell me how to disable loading the sys file so I can get back to working on my laptop.

OS : win 7 with current updates
Intel i5 core
Never had issues until now

Thanks
