Thank you very much.

Xiaofeng

Will a 1080p pic of my screen from a camera do because all the screenshot apps require rooted phones or special install instructions through sites I don’t trust

Sure, it will work.

Thank you~

Push ad detector. Great addition, Fanny.
Congrats on this release.

When you will get auto-upgrade?

Hi guys,

There can be implemented in future version the function of blocking unauthorized access to USSD commands (the latest vulnerability on android)?

Thank you and appreciate for your hard work.

On my phone the command requires me to actually press ‘dial’ before it can work.
So this is a non issue.
I went to the test Site to verify this.
I also discovered with this test that my browser will not run a USSD command unless I allow it to, each time.
So this further makes it a non issue.
My phone browser is Opera.

I have a HTC Sensation XE (stock ICS/rooted) and the command is executed directly, at least in the default browser.
I tried with *#06# (IMEI) here: [VULNERABILITY] Remote wipe via iframe USSD trigger | XDA Forums

Update: with Firefox too…

Yeah but it makes it a non issue for YOU not for everybody else.

For the people are are affected by the above you can download an app called auto reboot blocker from the play store.

Currently I’m using Bitdefender USSD Wipe Stopper (to cover the vulnerability).
If I rely on a security solution and runs in the background, I would like to cover that area, without the need for other programs.

Just in case you are wondering, I am on a SGS2, OS: GB2.3.6, Siyah kernel

how does this app work. I installed it and it says I’m vulnerable and to push the button to use bitdefender thing as default dialer. I do that and brings up my regular dialer with 123456 typed in. What do I do

I have android 2.3.6 one thing i wanna know, my version will be supported for long time, or i have to upgrade to 4.0 in time?

the majority of Androids in circulation are gingerbread so I’d say it would be a while before they drop support

Try Avast Mobile Security as they have it covered.
