We are so pleased to announce that Comodo Mobile Security (CMS) v1.3.20180.7 on Android is now released on forum. In this version, we added Traffic Monitoring feature and made some improvement.

What’s NEW?

Traffic Monitoring is added for CMS v1.3.20180.7, which features:

  • Real-time monitoring of mobile broadband and Wi-Fi data traffic through your device;
  • Graphs, statistics and usage alerts give you better insight and control over usage.

What’s improved?

  • Enhanced the virus data base to cover latest malware;
  • Instead of checking the update files on the device, heath check feature can go online to check if updates are available;
  • Used new alarm for Anti-theft “Sound an alarm” feature;
  • Moved Setting icon from Utilities page to Menu.

I downloaded from the above link and it is the previous version.
Can you fix this please?
Can’t test new features if the file is not available to DL.

:-[ It’s so weird! I have download the correct one 3 hours ago, but now it seems the previous version…maybe there are some error in server… hope it can be fixed~

However, is it possible to add:

  1. Buzz (sound) alert for over daily traffic quota (like 3G Watchdog)?

  2. Traffic statistics for each program (like Onavo)?

We are working on traffica statistics for each application. You will see it on the later version.

BUG: Today I used 23,4 MB of my transfer and in the graph there is only 25 and “M” is cropped. (there is no enough space).

BTW Now I have used 44 M and M suits well.

Another bug: it is only showing me today’s traffic.
It should also be showing me yesterday.

The settings tab or option is not shown on the main menu for me at least.

The settings tab is moved to Device Menu, you’d better tap ‘Menu’ button from your device to use it

I am liking this new version, it is quite excellent apart from (for me) one minor issue.

Turning on the traffic monitoring turns on a status bar icon and shows near real time usage in the drop down status bar menu. I would really appreciate a way to turn this off.

I can remove the Comodo icon from the status bar, but the Traffic Monitoring functionality adds its own icon, which cannot be removed.
