Comodo locks up Vista

(I’m new to Comodo, so this question may have been addressed elsewhere).

Comodo is installed here on a Vista Home PC. Most of the time it seems to work fine. Recently, however, the laptop has refused to start up properly, with none of the usual System Tray icons displayed. The only way round this has been to:

  1. Boot up in Safe Networking mode
  2. Disable the Comodo service
  3. Reboot normally
  4. Re-enable Comodo

The PC always boots up properly with the Comodo service disabled, but rarely boots up now when it is enabled.

Ideas anyone?

Ian

Did you recently change a CIS setting? Are there events in the D+ logs that might give us a clue?
