I noticed the external hard drives were being used when i wasnt using them so i started process monitor to track down the culprit(s) and to my disappointment it was Comodo :o
Comodo keeps bugging the external HDs for a long period of time ( it does the same thing with the internal hard drive )

Comodo accesses external hard drives for no good reason for a period of time.
effect: External hard drives can’t go to sleep. -

I think i can replicate it by accessing one of the external hard drives then comodo starts its strange behaviour. -
