Comodo is blocking java

I was trying to play a game with www.gametableonline.com and i keep getting a message saying Spalsh: recv failed. Two geek buddies spent over three hours each trying to fix the issue. After removing comodo the problem ceased. I put comodo back so I still cant play >:( I have windows 7 with 64 bit operating system. My java is up to date, cache cleared, nothing worked. The geek buddy told me to email the developers with the issue, so here I am. PLEASE HELP?

I’m not really seeing a problem connecting, although I could only try a free game. The image below is of the firewall rules created when I connected. You could simplify these by using the following:

javaw.exe - Allow TCP Out Any Any
deploy.jar - Allow TCP Out Any Any
Javaws.exe - Allow TCP Out Any Any

Or you could create a Network Zone with the following:

50.56.28.0 - 50.56.31.255
50.56.64.0 - 50.56.127.255

Then create your rules using the zone.

For javaw.exe and deploy.jar

Action - Allow
Protocol - TCP
Direction - Out
Source Address - Any
Destination Address - Network Zone
Source Port - Any
Destination Port - Any

Action - Allow
Protocol - TCP
Direction - Out
Source Address - Any
Destination Address - 127.0.0.1
Source Port - Any
Destination Port - Any

For javaws.exe

Action - Allow
Protocol - TCP
Direction - Out
Source Address - Any
Destination Address - 127.0.0.1
Source Port - Any
Destination Port - Any

If you’re using the pre-defined web browser rule, you’ll also have to make sure you allow it to connect to TCP port 8543. You’ll also receive a prompt from the browser to open/download a .jnlp file. Make sure you choose open.

At what point are you getting the problem?
