Comodo is blocking access to a website

There have been a few times i receive this message

“The website you are looking for may be experiencing problems, is temporarily unavailable, or there was a typing error in the address. Error: (DNS), click the back back button to try another link.”
- NOT TRUE OUR SOURCE IN CHINA CAN VIEW THE WEBSITE WITHOUT THIS ERROR! :o

I have always thought ok, the site is down, but it TURNS out that our friends in china are able to view
the WEBSITE but here in CANADA we are not? I believe the only reason its being blocked and we can not access the website is because of the COMODO VNS?? I believe that what it was called… anyways the New Feature on the COMODO INTERNET SECURITY.

Anti-virus, firewall, and VNS i believe it is called… featured into 1 product.

How can i remove the VNS from COMODO, do not want to use that feature anymore
since sometimes website have been blocked to be view and from a professional standpoint
its not good for our business.

thank you

This page should help:

http://www.comodo.com/secure-dns/index.html

If you’re using Windows, you’ll want to switch back to: Obtain DNS server address automatically.

Doesn’t secure DNS tell you it’s blocking a website though? I don’t think it would show a DNS error if it was blocking the site.

Can you take a screenshot of the error message?

Depends if www.example.com is blocked, you will get a message saying its blocked.

But if you try www.example.com/download/example.exe you will get a DNS error message.
