Yahi!! Downloading it right now
Hopefully this version is more stable than the previous one (in terms of cpu usage)
The general website and service crash was caused by this update?
I used the full installer to upgrade CIS from previous 7.0.313494.4115 version to this 7.0.315459.4132 version… First of it “removed” my configuration and set up a default config (You what!? I thought same major version upgrade carried it over and enabled it by default!?) but then when I re-enabled my old config it forgot the correct setting for the Firewall… Set it to Safe Mode when it should have been set to Custom Ruleset… Other then that it also completely removed the KillSwitch executable and then when trying to click “Watch Activity” to re-install it, it simply claims there is something wrong with the executable (Which to me means KillSwitch executable was accidentally removed and not uninstalled) so hey, run the diagnostics… Well it claimed no issues were found but it still re-created the KillSwitch executable, so logically issues were found and fixed but diagnostics apparently didn’t want to admit to that… but whatever…
I used the Update button from within old Comodo 6.3 and all appears to have worked with one restart. What I could not find was any updater executable e.g. that I could use with other of my PCs–is this right or did I miss it? Seemed like a very large download but I could not find it on my hard disk.
Also I see that “Viruscope Details” in the About box is greyed-out. Does Viruscope need to be turned-on somehow?
