5.x users can download the upgrade package and run it to upgrade to 6.3: upgrade Comodo Internet Security from 5.x to 6
I just downloaded the Internet Security version of this release, but the file hashes don’t match with the ones quoted above - I’m getting SHA-1 hash of 1B8EB5B31923B4C020F22304061FFD2945E47F78, every time I download it. In details, the file version is 6.3.35691.2951 and product version 6.3.297835.2951 . Oh, and the size is 190Mb. Is this the right one ?
UPDATE from Slava Garelin: Now it’s OK and proper version is spreaded among our mirrors.
Hi mfarmilo, It was synchronizing issue, we’ve already put proper 2953 setups there. It will take us few time to have them synchronized with our mirrors. Thank you for your attention!
On Win 8.1 64 bits here! You just saved my life!!! Cis 6.2 was one of a few programs the update from win 8 to 8.1 broke. I was forced to install Avast 2014 which is my second choice AV, but it still interferes between the Web shield and the Firewall filter so I was happy to just get rid of it! You were fast Comodo on this! Thanks!
Thanks!
I do not use windows 8. Wait for a version of CIS to be able to block unauthorized access to certain applications such as injectors and software reverse engineering.
Did not the individual at Microshaft who had originally came up with the idea of Windows 8 just recently get fired? I hope that they do not release a number piece of useless junk for 9!
