6. Step by step description to reproduce the issue
During a full system scan it started hammering error windows one after another fo every file it failed to submit. Quickly Windows taskbar was full of them. Why weren’t all the files contained within one window instead of displaying bunch of windows and only 1 file listed on each of them?

Also why this happened? Are submission servers down or broken? I never got this problem during BETA1 with exactly the same CIS settings.

EDIT:
Here, cought the popups on my other system:

0. Summary of bug
Diagnostics file still does not contain the following important information:

  • event logs
  • current config
  • Killswitch active processes details
  • Trusted Vendor list
  • Trusted files list
  • Network zones list
  • (probably) the correct dump file when it is not CIS.exe.dmp. (If VirtKiosk.exe crashes diagnostics collected CIS.exe.dmp in last version)
This presusmably cannot be intentional, as Egemen promised at mods Beta to upgrade diagnostics to include much of the above.

Please note that this bug means that users will have to include unecessary information in bug reports, information which may be incorrect. As a further consequence both user and developer time may be wasted. Bugs may not go reported because users do not have sufficient time to gather the data. Bugs may be incorrectly diagnosed through inaccurate information.

0. Summary of bug
Cloud lookup does not ask user to delete malicious file like previous beta or 5.X were.

1. The full product and its version
COMODO Internet Security 6.0.252829.2626

2. Your Operating System (32 or 64 bit) and Service Pack revision
Windows Vista 64 bit.

3. List all the configuration changes you did. Are you using Default configuration? If no, whats the difference?
None

4. Other Security and Utility Software Installed
None

5. Step by step description to reproduce the issue
*Take some malicious files
*put them in the “Unrecognized Files” tab
*Click “Lookup”
*Then cloud lookup finds malicious things, you click on close and normally CIS should alert the user that there is malicious files and if he wants to delete them or not.
Also, if a file is found safe I did not test but I suspect it won’t tell the users that file has been removed to trusted files.
Please test it also with a NEW unknown file never seen so never submitted. You’ll see that CIS does not ask user to submit the file in quetion.
