COMODO Internet Security 5.0.157302.1066 BETA Bug Reports

you need to add Daemon tools to your Shell Code Injection Detection exclusions and it will be fine as i outlined in my previous message.

I have same problem with Daemon tools and DT already added as exclusions in Shell Code Injection Detection, but problem not gone:(

Yeah, I’ve posted some screenshots here. Now I’ve uninstalled it and installed Virtual Clone Drive.
Problem gone. I hope.

LE: Yep, Virtual sheep is working like a charm. Case closed from my point of view.

Anyway, until now I can say that I like a lot this new version.
Many thanks Comodo Team and Melih. :-TU

Just to be sure you didn’t download from an un-synchronized server this is build 1066 where talking about right, can you please verify the about box?

Yes, sir. Version 1066. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Yes please verify the Windows Event logs to see if they give any clue, last time it happened to me the log stated just below the message “dirty shutdown detected” that it had loaded cmdguard from the top of my head…

Sorry, but I couldn’t find anything. I saw where I manually killed the power, but nothing of significance prior.

I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium x86.
I have Avira AntiVir Premium installed.

I installed only the firewall from CIS 2011 and I should say there is a big white unused space in the bottom of the main window (with firewall only installed)

I don’t think that is a bug. That is just the size of the gui, and there is white space if you dont install the whole suite.

This is not a bug. The minimum GUI space is the minimum, period.
That space is reserved for if you decide to add the AV to CIS.

I thought so also… but it still looks a little bit confusing, odd and\or ugly.

Maybe install the full suite, and then disable the AV. lol

Let me see. Can you post a screenhsot of the active processes you have? You can show the screenshot of task manager.

And also can you reproduce this issue all the time?

Egemen

win 7 64
comodo time machine-cpm
start the laptop up
na
no memory dump
screenshot attached
happens every time i start the laptop using either admin or standard user
using the default profile, didnt change anything

i think this has something to do with the intel graphics file that in 4.1 it was always sandboxed?i think
