Great update! :BNC updating now.

Cool! (:KWL) (:KWL)

Can’t wait to update! =)

Upgrade via updater of CIS went fine
The changelog seems to contain the important issues some users had, great. AV exclusions are now working for me

After updating I lost the active connections list again. Now downloading for a clean install.

So far so good. Updated via Updater.

I still have 3.8.64739.471 as when I accept the updated version my 12 month old Windows XP machine just stops responding at all & I have to switch off & take back via system restore. I am continuing to update the virus definitions and have 998 but at moment each time I am advised on the systen update I refuse it.

Any ideas on how to get round this issue.

Marcus

by the way i have a amd athlon 64 x2 dual macjine

ah cool ! some improvment for vista 64  let’s test it right now.

The clean install solved the previous problem, but importing the configuration seemed to work when run as admin but nothing was imported.

Vista home premium SP1 32 bit

A reboot should fix that.

Hopefully this update fixes the problems other users had. It’s great that there’s such a short time between releases (and nothing breaks, or course). :comodo110:

Just tried it but no it didn’t. No problem for me as I have been through all the betas and such, but for new users it would be difficult.

Update nuked my Dell 1nspiron 1525 Laptop. Would get BSOD even when trying to boot into Safe Mode. Using Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit with AVG Free and Windows Defender. Had to do a factory image restore.

Speaked too soon. :frowning:
In fact I have same problems like JamesFrance. No traffic, uninstall, install new version, traffic appears but no luck at importing the configuration saved just before uninstalling previous version.
I’ve tried even an old saved config and no luck. I have 5 reboots just to be sure.

I can recreate old rules fast but I’d just want to share.

(:CLP) well done! the PPPoE problem seems to be solved. now I have traffic in tray and ports 0 and 1 are sthealthed in grc test.

So far so good! Finally I can enjoy CIS 3.8 without problems  Thanks Comodo :comodorocks:

Finally got the AV crash fixed. Thanks. After the update comodo crashed on restart. But I just restarted again and it was fine. Sorry I forgot to save the windows report.

Perfect as usual
Thanks guys :comodorocks:

I have the same PC. Did you install the AV part of CIS? Because it isn’t good to have two or more AV’s running real-time scans at the same time.
