Yes, CIS/CF 8012 is still relevant. Apart from some bug fixes, re-coding and the addition of TDT and BypassIO, it’s essentially still the same product and will protect you just as well. I have no issues with it in Windows 11 current version 23H2 apart from the icon delay which is occasional after a reboot. Cruelsister has shown CFW’s 8012 effectiveness leading right up to the 2025 release so it’s still relevant.

Although the last couple of my videos used Comodo 2025, on my personal systems I still have 8012 installed (as I feel that it is Best Practice to wait until the internal updater alerts to a new version).
I actually tried 8012 (CF) against some malware from my last video that breached the Zone Alarm/Checkpoint defenses, and CF performed swimmingly as usual.

Correct problem not solved but you can install if ignoring certificate warning and the CIS/CF detecting itself warnings will still be there.

i don’t think comodo revoked the certificate without a reason
maybe the keys got leaked somehow

We didn’t revoke the certificate ourselves, but our Certificate Authority revoked the certificate by mistake.
