  • Powershell_ise analysis support.
  • Option to automatically scan plugged-in devices.
  • Simplified installation.
  • First network zone detection is performed in background.
  • Widget is hidden by default but can be changed with an install setting available through the Options button.
  • Updated AV engine.
  • Overall performance and stability improvements.
  • WDSC integration performance and stability improvements.

Fixes:

  • Fixed extended OS boot time in some cases.

  • Fixed defect where full scan fails in some rare cases.

  • Unrecognized file does not launch in Sandbox second time after first viruscope detection.

  • Defect where ‘Cmdagent.exe’ consumes 40-50 % CPU constantly in some cases.

  • Rules for Website Filtering can’t be added if all rules was deleted.

  • Uninstall of CIS Premium is periodically failed.

  • cmdagent.exe unexpectedly terminates in some rare cases.

  • Defect where cmdagent.exe unexpectedly terminates after install CIS with Secure Shopping on XP.

  • Sandboxed .bat scripts are displayed as cmd in active processes list.

  • Containment resetting process takes a long time in some cases.

  • Not able to play videos in Facebook inside sandboxed Opera.

  • BSOD when playing Freeridesgames games

  • This release has be rolled out for new users. We shall be rolling out updates for existing users over the next few weeks.

Ok, I read.
Tomorrow I will uninstall CAV version 12 and install CIS version 12, so I will see how the firewall behaves.
However I already have two feedbacks to improve:
In the Italian language version the USB driver scan pop-ups (Pen drives, hard disks, etc …) remain in English.
Also on this feature I also suggest to implement in addition to those that are already there (maybe with next release) a user choice also of an automatic scan without displaying the scan details, but only with the appearance of a pop-up in case malware is found, with a possible choice of manual or automatic removal action.

Thanks Comodo and Vladimir for this release. So is this the same RC, released as Final?

Also was expecting new UI in CIS12 which was promised but can definitely live without it. :slight_smile:

This version also includes fix of taskbar overlapping by maximized contained apps (issue was found on beta, fix was not included in RC), but version number was not changed.

If program update follows in a day or two, will wait else will re-install.

You can run program update task as long as the beta server is not set in update settings or in host file. The update is small as it only downloads and updates a few files.

That explains why the file hashes between RC and final are different.

BASE_UPD_END_USER_v30609.cav won’t be found because of error 0x80070002…

Can you check your Proxy and Host Settings and make sure they are set to the regular server and not the download server?
