Comodo has blocked everything including itself

My friend installed Comodo on my new laptop. A few days ago, when opening aim, it asked how I wanted to treat the program and I chose “Independent Program”(probably the wrong thing to do, but it’s done now :-). I have no idea what this did, but now I can’t open anything, including Comodo. All I can do is open Windows Task Manager and My Computer. That’s it.

The error I get is “Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.”

ETA: I don’t even know the version, since I can’t open it to check.

boot computer in safe mode see if you can get into comodo that whey and change the rule to trusted application or use a custom one.

Was it a blue window that had “Independent Program”? if so you probably had Version 2 not 3

Also,
I would say boot in safe mode and uninstall…

I was looking around and finally found another thread with the same problem…

Sadly I have to wait for my friend to get back to me because I cannot remember for the life of me how to do this. :-[
