Comodo fw uses too much cpu power - again

Hello!

I use win7 x64 with avast free v7 and comodo fw.
After the latest update of Comodo fw, the cpf.exe process uses 15-25% of my CPU power permanently.
Comodo fw settings: only fw on, defender+ and sandbox disabled.
I tried add the Comodo directory to the excluded zone of avast, but it was inefficient.

How can I solve this problem?
Currently, I denied comodo, and use the built-in fw of Win.

Thanks!

I think it would be nice if we could get a ‘process monitor’ trace of what cfp.exe is doing during that time.
You can find the tool on www.sysinternals.com

Please give me step-by-step instructions.

Thanks

First download the tool from here Process Monitor - Sysinternals | Microsoft Learn
Save it to disk and extract the zip to a folder.

Next start procmon.exe, accept the EULA, press CTRL-E to stop capturing.
Now click ‘Filter’ → Filter…
Select ‘Process name’ ‘is’ type cfp.exe then ‘include’ and press the ‘Add’ button.

Next press CTRL-X to clear the display, and CTRL-E to start capturing.
Let it run for a few minutes while CPU is high for cfp.exe and then stop the capture CTRL-E (Or File, Capture Events).

Now save the file by going to File, Save, Use the default settings and save the file to a location on your disk.
Next zip this file and let’s see if we can attach it here.

Add CIS folder to Avast’s exclusion.

Does Comodo Firewall and Avast 7 bring a solution for you?
