Comodo Firewall

if you really want to know how to improve your product (firewall mainly)… then allow the end user to be able to uninstall the ■■■■ thing…

it took me over 2 days to get it out of my system. i actually had to download Revo Uninstaller (yeah insert plug here for those who want to get rid of this thing). it roots itself everywhere and no matter what, you do not allow it to uninstall, hell, you dont even allow it to end process… what’s with that.

i have been working with computers for over 15 years now and I have never seen a more malicious program (other than those meant to be harmful - unless that is what you guys are going for). i understand the concept of getting your product out there and getting it sold, but if you want posts and emails like this to stop then i suggest (strongly i might add) that you throw, ummmmm… oh i dont know —AN UNINSTALLER in the mix. it rooted itself in over 35 different area of my registry, hell i dont even give that much permission to my husband to access my registry.

on a serious note ( that is if the admins even get down this far before deciding to delete me out)…

please revise your product. there are those unassuming people out there that dont even know what a firewall is, so if they download your program, they find that they can’t even run the ■■■■ thing to make exceptions to allow certain sites (such as disneys toontown - i mean really how harmful is that). you need to make your program more user friendly, unless your going for the advanced computer guru crowd, then hey you mastered that.

i can tell you this… i will NOT try another of your products. this experience has totally turned me off your brand. back to my good ole standard - KAPERSKY (yeah another plug - for those that want another product to use).

your product is propaganda and yeah I am just another peon in the mix, but if you really want feedback on your product, then here it is…

cheers

Sorry to hear about your problems.

CIS does come with an uninstaller, but some users have reported that CIS isn’t listed in the Windows Add/Remove programs list. Is this what you were experiencing?

As for not being able to access Disney’s ToonTown, the firewall won’t block any websites by default. You need to manually add a website to block. Did you install SecureDNS? That may have been doing the actual blocking.

let me try posting this feedback in< hmmm kaspersky forums maybe

I just wanna C how mods there will react to such a troll

I remember one of my friends tried to report that their product had a problem with protecting known DLLs < the thread was chipped off in 5 mins :-X

Pardon me madam, but I love comodo ;D

She’s been “working with computers for over 15 years” and she still hasn’t figured
out how to search a forum for removal tool.

Well, at least she has Revo Uninstaller now. ;D

And don’t you hate it when old people don’t bother to use capital letters and proper punctuation
in their posts.

working in computer is very generic, i know some engineer who dont know how to optimize or fix their windows ^^

if she did 15 years of words & excel, she is not supposed to know perfectly how to get rid of a security software. but if she works as a technician she should change job ^^ .

anyway the way she write her post looks like more the works of a hater than someone who were disappointed. the forum have a lot of helpful users who may help her.

last time i uninstalled CIS 5.3, it refused due to a network error , i forget all the details. it taked me 2mn to use my uninstaller (a tool in windows 7 manager) then download the CIS removal tool to finish the job…

some people are skilled others are less. it is life ^^

hate me, i dont use capital letter !!! ^^
