comodo firewall + windows firewall?

I am running windows 10
it is not turning off windows firewall. It is running both firewalls at the same time.
Is this okay, and if so, why?

You need to turn off the Windows firewall, You should never run 2 firewalls at the same time, as there might be a conflict in security rules/policy.
Note, the Windows firewall service must remain on for even CIS firewall to function.

thanks, that’s what I thought. I am on comodo firewall free version, and it doesn’t turn off windows firewall automatically. That’s a problem which should be addressed.

thumbs down to the geekbuddy support who told me on monday that comodo firewall and windows firewall should both be turned on, and he even went and turned windows firewall back on, over my protest.
