so, do you guys think i should go ahead and just download the current version or wait for v3? will the current version upgrade/update itself to version 3 once it comes out or do you have to do it manually?

-Are you confident with your current setup (hardware/software firewall)?
-Can you wait for July when v3 finalizes?
-If not, are you willing to beta test v3 when it releases in June?

Even if 2.4 can upgrade to 3 with its Updater, I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s a huge version number leap. Best to uninstall and reinstall. The clean installation method is always the safest.
