Comodo Firewall Immune To Packet Sniffing??

Hello Gents. The best way to evade a Packet Sniffing episode, other than to stay out of coffee shops, is to employ a VPN. However, I was wondering if there was a way I could configure CFP to ALERT me if it detects a Packet Sniffer. Is CF set to alert to packet sniffers by default? With or without defense+? At all?
Anybody know?

Assuming that you talking about wireless connections, I don’t believe so.

CIS can monitor and control the outbound flow of bits up to and including the NIC. Once it gets beyond the NIC (where it can be sniffed) it’s out of its control.

As you have stated, VPN is strongly recommended for wireless connections in public spaces.

The best way to evade a Packet Sniffing: VPN(cheap) or Secure network service(expensive).
There is no Firewalls to evade and detect Sniffing.

If you use a bluetooth device with wireless connection, VPN and Secure network service
can’t protect you 100%.
Because the attacker can attack your laptop via your bluetooth directly.

Also the attacker can take data from your Mobile phone including phone lists, pics, SMSs, any data that stored in
your mobile phone(memory chip).
Is that easy to attack?
Yes…
Attack range with normal bluetooth device: ~5 m
Attack range with some equipments(including amplifier): ~800 m
