Comodo Firewall freezes PC

OK I have had to do a clean install of windows 7 for the second time in as many months. And I suspect it is comodo firewall. I had the latest installed and one day out of nowhere the pc froze and I did like 10 restarts and everytime it would freeze. So I had re-install Windows 7. Then later on it froze again so I had to uninstall comodo and re-install the latest and it worked for a month or so before freezing again and I had to install windows 7 again last night.

Is there a chance this all could have been caused by comodo firewall? I am using windows 7 home premium service pack 1 32-bit.

Is it comodo or my laptop is getting old? I bought it a while ago but it is functional and everything seems t work but this freezing thing is really annoying. When it freezes you can’t do anything and even after 10 restarts you can’t open control panel to uninstall anything and then I have to do a clean install.

Sorry for the long post but I am asking to see if I have to install comodo firewall again or not?

When CFW is installed, it sets up system restore point.
Could you not try to restore to confirm if freezing issue stops after firewall is uninstalled?

I tried restore but there was no restore point as I think backup and restore was not enabled on my pc.
