Hello
When I boot my pc up i did gat an icon in the notification area
Now I dont get one .If I click on the program it appears but does not come back when I boot up again ???

I have seen this before with version 5.12. If you like you can update to version 6.2, which is the newest version. This issue should be fixed for the newest version.

Clicked on update but said my Comodo was ut to date but its still not 6.2
How do I get that please?

Currently, updates to V6 are not available through V5. The only way to upgrade, at least at the moment, is to use the installers given in this post.

However, note that if you wish to do a clean install I would advise that you follow the advice I give in this topic.
