comodo error 1625 sys policy error

Hi all,

I have read all the comments. I will try to give you answers as much as I can. If any lack of information, what I have not mentioned, and what I cannot express properly, sorry for that.

1. I tried the online installer on many different operating systems/platforms, it worked on all of them. Please try one more time.
2. Good to know that we did our job right. Because RC is released just before the public release and it is released as GA without adding anything.
3. We tried overinstall for many old versions and we succeeded. It supports only binary update since it is only a special case of 6914 version. For 6882 and others, please try overinstall one more time.
4. Virtual desktop works without any problems, what exactly is the problem, could you please give us some more details?
5. Lots of bugs already fixed, we will put many more fixes in the next version very soon.
6. I have never had a problem with importing configuration in the CIS between two versions.
7. ISE should be able to be installed. There must be something wrong.
8. Even if Windows does not support Win7, we continue to support it.

My Win7 admin account didn’t (and doesn’t) have the “credentials” to delete empty COMODO folder from Scheduled Tasks (emptied by CIS Uninstaller) in betweeen clean reinstalls, and neither CIS Uninstaller could remove it, maybe this is the reason of this error with policies during install v7036? Main Administrator account is disabled and I didn’t try this way yet. I’m aware that my OS isn’t the freshest there is (lasts already a couple of years but it’s stable)…

For me, over-installing on 6882 didn’t work (policy error), nor did standalone install. Also online install threw this error. I used CIS uninstaller in between every time, to be sure I’m starting clean. Importing config works from 7036 onto 6882 and the other way around as well. But internal updating from 6882 to 7036RC was the only option for me to be able to use the newest CIS for now.
