Comodo Dragon installation crashes

I can’t get Dragon to install on this computer (Win XP SP3). The installation program crashes early on in the install and gives the Windows error report popup screen (“Dragon has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell Microsoft about this problem.”). I have tried v17 and earlier versions, all fail. I am running Comodo Firewall, I would hope it is not the problem.
