Comodo D+ and Sandbox on Windows 7 64 Bit

Hi,
I am relatively new to Comodo products hence asking this question, I have heard time and again that HIPSs and Sandboxes are hardly as good on 64 Bit systems as they are on 32 Bit ones, I want to know, does the same apply to Comodo D+ and Sandbox?

With 64 bits Windows Vista and 7 security programs can no longer hook the kernel because Patch Guard will not allow it. Especially the maker of Sandboxie has been very vocal about this.

On the other hand Patch Guard will make Windows inherently more safe. Read this article on how it prevents rootkits: Archived MSDN and TechNet Blogs | Microsoft Learn .

I would say Windows gets more safe with 64 bits versions and the security programs need to start using other strategies than they got used to.

They get around this problem by using drop rights, right?

Yes, Comodo uses drop rights.
