Hello,

I’ve recently upgraded to Comodo Firewall 8.2 after using 5.12 for many years. Everything works as it should, except today my computer started showing me “Comodo Cybersecurity Alerts”.

Example:

To me, this looks like something some kind of malware would do. Also, I was unable to find anything about it. I didn’t click the link because I didn’t trust it. Is it really my Comodo Firewall doing this? If so, is there any way to turn it off?

Open CIS and go to “Tasks” in the upper-right corner, click “Advanced Tasks” and then click “Open Advanced Settings” now deselect “Show messages from COMODO Message Center” and then click OK.
