Sorry if I’ve posted this in the wrong place but I’m concerned over Comodo crashing on my PC this morning.
I recently moved over to Comodo after reading great reviews about this product and for weeks have been very happy with the way Comodo performs.
I had to go out this morning, so I ran a scan of my main ‘C’ drive because I’d had problems previously with a program constantly crashing a few hours before (PQ DVD to iPod…which I later uninstalled).
I restarted the PC before I started the Comodo scan and I also ran a Malwarebytes Anti-malware scan (which I’ve done before without problems) at the same time.
When I came home, I found a system error notice that said Comodo had crashed, yet the scan seemed to have completed fine and Comodo icon was still there in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
What I’m worried about that my system was vulnerable (either before, after or during the crash).
Being an ex ten year user on Norton products who has recently made the switch to Comodo, I’m just a little concerned of how safe the product is.
I’m currently doing a full scan with Comodo now and everything seems to be working fine.
Could it be a simple case of Comodo conflicting with another program and if so, is there a list?
