Great thanks Buket  :-TU :-TU

Yes, thank you very much Buket.

Thank you very much Buket.

Does it means CCAV can not connect to the cloud server in my place?

BUG NOT FIXED:
Windows still open Run dialog in case malware file is executed and detected.

Can you guys confirm?

On the first execution I get an autosandbox popup.
Then, if the file is still active, I end it in Sandbox.
After that I execute same file again.
This time no popup is shown.

Can you guys confirm?

Cloud seems broken and doesn’t even connect to it.

Congratulations with the release. It’s good to see CCAV grow up. Did ASLR get enabled in this build as stated by Tavis Ormandy or was he being sarcastic?

why do you think this?

Because it said that under the main panel checkmark and Quick scan also stopped because of it at like 23%. Then it said “Reconnecting to server” and it never reconnected. That’s why.

In windows 10 last updates 64 bit comodo cloud antivirus only registers in security center as antivirus and not as antispyaware.

Its working fine on my system. Must be a bug/incompatibility with some other software.

excellent work!

Hi EricJH,

Tavis’s mention was for CIS new fixes release, it will be done seperately from CCAV .

For your information,

Buket

Hi Buket,

Corrections will be CIS 8.2.0.4978?

Now I have faith!!! Great to see these two options added to ccav. Now Im angry to get home (later tonight) to try it out on my main machine. If all goes well then it will be installed on, atleast, 8 machines around the house  and a lot of feedbacks to come with it…

I know everybody, including yours truly, is eagerly awaiting a release of CIS but please don’t crosspost about the upcoming CIS maintenance release enven though it is already available at the Comodo download servers. Let’s wait for the release topic and the release notes and stay on topic here about CCAV.

Sorry, you’re right

It still doesn’t fully register with Windows Security Center. Why is anti-spyware monitoring not being registered when CCAV is clearly also protecting against spyware?
