Comodo blocks fragmented UDP traffic When Block Fragmented traffic is off [M974]

    1:Check that option “Block fragmented traffic” is off
    2:start analysis using netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu
    3:Find the following item in results’ summary: “Fragmented UDP traffic is blocked”
  • If not obvious, what U expected to happen:
    Obviously Comodo should not block fragmented traffic
  • If a software compatibility problem have U tried the conflict FAQ?:
    No
  • Any software except CIS/OS involved? If so - name, & exact version:
    No
  • Any other information, eg your guess at the cause, how U tried to fix it etc:
    Comodo is the cause of the problem. As soon as I disable the firewall component the site no longer reports that fragmented UDP traffic is blocked.

Problem spotted since version 6

  • Modules enabled & level. D+/HIPS, Autosandbox/BBlocker, Firewall, & AV:
    Firewall: Custom Ruleset
    Autosandbox: Disabled
    HIPS: Safe Mode

  • Have U updated (without uninstall) from CIS 5 or CIS6?:
    Yes

    Tried with version 6 - it did not help.

    Yes

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.
