Comodo blocks Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10.1

I’ve been using Comodo Internet Security 3 and Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10.1 for a while.

Now, I installed Comodo 4 and NaturallySpeaking is stalling on the splash window with 50% of CPU being used.
I tried different configurations of Comodo 4 with no success.
If I exit Comodo 4, NaturallySpeaking is still blocked. My guess is that is due to the kernel driver Comodo installs on the system.

But, if I uninstall Comodo 4, NaturallySpeaking would run as expected.

Could the developers fix this problem or let me know if there is a workaround.
In the meantime, I am forced to stay with Comodo 3.

My configuration: Comodo Personal Firewall with Defense + and no antivirus from Comodo (I use Avast)

Installed RAM: 2048 MBytes
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit version [version: 6.1.7600 ]
Shell: explorer.exe, Internet Explorer 8.0.7600
OS Languages: (UI | Locale (User/System)) : French/French | French/French

Hello pourquoi,

Does adding NaturallySpeaking to the My own safe files list makes any difference?
Can you please disable Sandbox and check the 2nd option at the Stealth port wizard, please?

Ark

I knew I forgot to mention something in my configuration! The sandbox was disabled all the time.

I don’t have Comodo 4 installed at the moment because of this problem, but would your suggestion work knowing that Dragon NaturallySpeaking was stalling even when Comodo 4 was not running and that I’ve accepted every alert from Comodo concerning NaturallySpeaking?

I’m trying to figure out what part of CIS causing problems (should be Defense+, unless NaturallySpeaking needs a connection). My guess is that NaturallySpeaking’s software needs - speech recognizer - special permission to some hardwares ~ maybe this is the only thing we need to find out.

Thanks for your answer, you may be right. I don’t know what component uses NaturallySpeaking that CIS 4 kernel drivers would block. The only thing I know is that it’s a change between CIS 3 and CIS 4.
(As a matter of fact, I’m dictating this message with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and CIS 3 is running fine on my computer.)

Let me know if you have any ideas about this problem.

I’ve the same problem!! Win7 64bit
But, after several times, I disabled PERMANENTLY the D+ (must reboot) e at startup Dragon Naturally Speaking started ok!
So…the problem is the D+…just disabling it from icon in taskbar doesn’t work for dragon!

Hope some help…

Ps:sorry for english
