Comodo AV False Positive

I just tried to install GFIBackup2009 and Comodo AV showed a possible virus at the following path:

C:\Program Files\GFI\GFI Backup 2009 - Home Edition\UNWISE.EXE

Before starting the installation of GFIBackup2009, I uploaded the installation file to VirusTotal and all scanners reported the file to be clean with the exception of one “Damaged File” report. I aborted the installation and uploaded “UNWISE.EXE” to VirusTotal. All scanners reported “UNWISE.EXE” to be “Clean”.

How do I get this false positive corrected. I downloaded the installation file from here:

Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You can mark it as an “exclusions” either when CIS warns you, choose “ignore” then add to “exclude” (or something like that, can’t remember exactly, haven seen it for a while :P) or open up CIS interface, go to “Antivirus” then “scanner setting” then “exclusions” and then hit the “add” and there rest I believe you can handle?

You could also submit this as a FP just follow the steps in the topic listed bellow
