COMODO AV can read .ATT files in search for viruses?

I would like to know if CAV can scan .ATT type files in search for known viruses?

Yes all files of any file extension or file type are scanned by comodo antivirus.

That means that CAV can “read” the content that the .ATT Files have? Or CAV cannot read the content and just compares the SHA1 file hashes?

.att file type is a plain text file format which means that .att files can be opened with a simple text editor such as windows notepad, therefore CAV can read the contents of .att files just like i can with any other plan text file format.
