Comodo autostart

Hello!

I have a little issue, since a couple of days, my Comodo Firewall does not start automatically when windows launches. I already looked at System Configuration and Startup, but Comodo was not even listed. So I am wondering, how I can solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

What version of Windows are you using? Can you check with Task Manager (with “Show processes of all users” enabled) and see if cfp.exe and cmdagent.exe are running?

Both the executables you mentioned are running and I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

Does the icon of CIS (which is linked to cfp.exe) show up in the systray?

Cmdagent.exe runs as a service and can be found in the Service Control Manager as Comodo Internet Security Helper service.

You can find the autoruns of cfp.exe and cmdagent.exe with for example a tool like Autoruns.

The CIS icon only shows up in the systray, after I manually started the Comodo Firewall.

That problem has been reported various times for Win 7 x64. It is not known what is causing it.

the problem started with me after installing killswitch

Is cistray.exe running after boot when the tray icon is not showing?
