Tested same v6526 on XP SP3, don’t see any problem in general.
So looks like system specific issue.

May you please share snapshot of following folder?
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Comodo\Cis\wpTemp\cavsedb\

You will find a .cav file under following:

Also, copy all files under

I couldn’t find a cav file under option 1 but have copied all the cav file in wpTemp to

I am not sure what has happened, but my Comodo has just updated for the first time in about 3 weeks and Windows is no longer showing error. Is it due to something that Comodo has done ? I would like to know in case the problem reoccurs
