COMODO Antivirus 1.1.194174.99 BETA for MAC OSX for Bug Reports

Please post all bug reports here and make sure to include:

  3. Step by step description to reproduce the issue
  4. How you tried to resolve the problem

It’s vital to provide all this information, so the developers can quickly identify and fix bugs faster.

  1. MAC OS X.5
  2. Time Machine Disabled
  3. Download CAV, Installed as Admin (couldn’t install received error)
  4. Reboot, Download Fresh Copy, stil no go
  5. N/A

    none, just plain install of Lion

  3. Step by step description to reproduce the issue
    download CAVSetup.dmg and try to install

  4. How you tried to resolve the problem
    downloaded it again, and tried again with same result

  5. Attach screenshots to your posts to clarify the issue further

Installer crashes, cannot perform installing…

OSX 10.7.1 (11B26)

McAfee installed and working… i’ve to try to uninstall that and retry installation…

I’ll keep you informed.

No success in installing after removing McAfee…

Installer gets as far as asking for email (optional), and crashes when you press ‘Next’.

Mac OS X 10.7.1 (Lion) x64

2. Other Security and Utility Software Installed
Little Snitch firewall, Filevault (built in OS disc encryption)

3. Step by step description to reproduce the issue
Launch installer, enter admin password, follow installer to email page. Crashes every time.

4. How you tried to resolve the problem
Repaired disc permissions, restarted the machine.

5. Attach screenshots to your posts to clarify the issue further
Done.
