Comodo Alerts Appearing and Instantly Dissapearing

It’s a weird issue. This is a FRESH install of win10, only drivers have been installed and having this issue where alerts pop up for half a second and disappear. They still seem to be there waiting until the end of there timeout though before timing out and selecting whatever there default option is though. This is ALL alerts firewall/AV/Defense+ etc. Is there a known list of conflicting drivers or something? This is CIS 8. Can post logs etc if people need!

Ok this bug actually reminded me of something i had an issue with the other day (Remote Desktop was crashing because of lack of audio codec).
This turned out to be the same thing. If you turn off sound for alerts in comodo it’s not an issue. Seems pretty mental that M$ and Comodo would sport things that crash for missing a simple audio codec.

Though it could be because i run creative Audio (also on Windows 10 N which has a lot of windows media things removed by default).

Anyway if anyone has this issue (used to have this issue on Windows 8, with an older creative card) it’s the audio setting.
Just flip that off and reboot

Thank you very much for posting this. I was having this problem and looking for a solution. :-TU :-TU ;D

Flip what off? Do I have to disable the Creative software or disable a certain function?

Thanks, this does work! Any chance on a patch which disables this option automatically with Creative Audio Hardware?
