I have a new laptop and wish to install Comodo 6, then once Comodo 7 is released install that. My question is; I’ve heard that the removal of Comodo leaves behind drivers and registry keys, will this be the case when I wish to upgrade to Comodo 7?
The most effective way to reinstall, or upgrade, is to follow the advice I give here. Things usually go fine if you just uninstall normall and then install the new version. However, sometimes things do go wrong, and following these steps ensures that everything will go smoothly.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks.

Will that work for Windows 8.1 i.e., the removal process?
Yes. There are two removal tools I reference in that post. One of them does not work well with Windows 8.1. The other however works well. In the topic I have designated which one is which.
Thanks.
