Hi does anyone know how I can stop the message “Comodo 4.0 Internet Security is now available” from popping up every time I open my browser ???

To disable automatic update notification look under More -->Preferences → General and disable “Automatically check for program updates”.

Under which category will I find this? I am using Comodo Firewall version 3.14 and there are 4 categories at the top which are SUMMARY, FIREWALL DEFENSE + and MISCELLANEOUS

Although I think you should only be seeing that when you boot your computer. Not every time you open your browser. ???

May be he is using a dial up connection that opens each time he starts his browser? I am not sure about this though.

Sorry yes it is when I boot my computer, not when I open my browser :-[
