I recently re-imaged my computer from a 3 month old backup and it is now running CIS 3.12.111745.560 and so I downloaded 3.13.125662.579 and when I went to install it Defense+ recorded its initial permission not as G:\Downloads… where CIS 3.13 was stored but as C:0\Downloads… and I immediately got a DEP message that the Comodo Installer was not running. I then tried again using the 3.13.125662.574 program that I had installed before the computer was re-imaged and I got the same bizarre results with Defense+ recorcing its initial permission as being C:0\Downloads…
I’ve installed at least a dozen different versions of CIS and I’ve never had a problem anything like this before. Do any of you knowledgeable gentleman have any suggestions on how I might proceed? I was considering removing CIS 3.12.111745.560 and trying the installation again, but I have lost track of the Comodo Removal Software that I once had.

I hoped you remove cis 3.12 before installing 3.13
A normal uninstall of 3.12 should be sufficient, just make sure there are not other security software able to interfere with the process, i never ever had a dirty install from the first 3.0.x till now…
After that you should be able to install CIS 3.13.x.579
In my experience with every new version of Comodo its built in uninstaller first completely removes the previous version and then after a reboot installs the new version and I haven’t had a problem with this process before except for once and I used a special Comodo Uninstall Tool and without it I have doubts that I will be able to completely uninstall 3.12 so that 3.13 will install correctly because as it stands 3.13 is not being allowed to run and first uninstall 3.12 as it should.
Does anyone know where I can find the Comodo Uninstall Tool again?

I think you are referring to this post here:

But like it states it should only be used if the normal uninstall fails…
Ronny- Yes, that’s exactly what I was looking for in fact I just came across that thread myself… https://forums.comodo.com/empty-t36499.0.html. Tomorrow I’ll try to remove as much of CIS 3.12 as I can before using this CIS Removal Tool and I’ll let you folks know how it went. Hopefully I’ll be able to install CIS 3.13 afterward!
As it turned out Revo brought up the Comodo uninstaller and it completely uninsalled v3.12 without a problem and then 3.13.125662.579 installed effortlessy! Thanks for your support guys its great to have the current version of Comodo protecting my computer once again!
