comodo keeps wanting to update and re-start , also the same trojan appears everytime i open a bowser and i repeatedly clean or quarintine it , nor will comodo run in safe mode , running xp pro and its doing the same on 3 pc’s , driving me nuts , dont know if this is the right place to post this guess the mods will know , i just want some answers seems to be a flaw in the latest update .
The update from v 5.4 to v5.5 is a two step process. Can you check the current version number of CIS? It can be found under More → About.
The alerts you are seeing is most likely a false positives. The alerts TrojWare.JS.TrojanClicker.Small.-AC[at]226879074 and TrojWare.HTML.Exploit.Codebase.~Exec[at]226875254 have been confirmed to be a false positives. It should be fixed within a couple of hours.
You can work around it using Incognito mode in IE or just another browser for the time being.
These f/p’s and the update process are not related to one another.
Hi all,
Comodo will be issuing an AV update in approximately 30 minutes (from the time of this posting) to correct the FP issues.

AV update 9300 has been released and appears to have fixed the FP issue.

Thanks for all replies , anyone know why comodo wont work in safe mode as i tried that first before realisizing it was a fp no matter what browser i used , can someone find out if this was just a xp pro related problem ? as the new IE 9 has not been made compatible with xp pro ( only that vista junk and its better dressed sister windows 7 junk ) , even with dual core processors IE 9 wont work on xp pro , just a deliberate campaign by money grabbing microsoft to push windows 7 onto everyone , which ironically is to be re-placed in less than 18months , you couldn’t make this up if you tried lol.
Ummmm, when do you think XP was “replaced”? LOL
IE 9 uses several system components that are simply not available under Windows XP (Direct2D API). It is, to the best of my knowledge, impossible to get IE9 to run under XP. Sad but true.
If you do want to continue using XP, you may need to consider using a different browser (Comodo Dragon, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc.).
CIS will not work in safe mode as it requires kernel level drivers, which are not loaded in Safe Mode.

Hi guys, I think there is another annoying bug on CIS.
Every time there is a program update (not a database update), CIS doesn’t remember the size of the window when you double-click on the tray icon to open the summary screen.
For example, if you enlarge the window to full screen, when you reboot your PC and double-click on the tray icon, the window will open at the default size…
I know it’s not a big issue, but it’s quite annoying…
I hope this problem can be solved in the next release.
Bye
P.S.: I’m running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit
Panic you can still buy xp pro 64 bit as most commercial companies use it including the whole Uk NHS , er lol.
PS :- not much use if you cant scan in safe mode is it , even avg will lol.
At Jon79. I think (not) remembering of Windows size is determined by Windows. As far as I know one cannot influence that.
